Cargostore Worldwide heeft aangekondigd dat de Raad van Bestuur, Andrew Hart heeft benoemd tot Vice President offshore. Na 7 jaar zal de huidige Vice President Offshore, Jacob Poot, zijn fulltime functie neerleggen en Cargostore gaan ondersteunen als niet-uitvoerend brand ambassadeur.
In de afgelopen jaren heeft Jacob de uitgebreide groei van de Offshore-divisie van Cargostore gevolgd. Cargostore is in deze jaren een toonaangevende wereldspeler geworden in de levering van DNV 2.7-1 CCU’s voor de offshore markt. Ook uitbreiding naar nieuwe regio’s, zoals Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, Noord-Europa en Taiwan kwamen voorbij.
”Voor mij is dit het juiste moment om de functie over te dragen aan Andrew. Ik ben blij dat ik Cargostore kan blijven steunen in de toekomstige ontwikkelingen van het bedrijf. Dit terwijl ik contact houd met onze partners en klanten”, zo stelt Jacob Poot.
Andrew Hart, voorheen de CEO van Freight Forwarders Kenya, brengt een schat aan ervaring en kennis naar het team, nadat hij verschillende rollen heeft vervuld in expeditie en logistiek ten dienste van de olie- en gas-, mijnbouw- en andere grote infrastructuurprojecten.
”Cargostore is een bedrijf in ontwikkeling met een geweldig team. Ik kijk er echt naar uit om de uitbreiding van het bedrijf in de olie- en gas- en offshore windsector te ondersteunen”, aldus Andrew Hart.

Cargostore Worldwide today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Andrew Hart to the role of Vice President, Offshore, reporting to CEO Justin Farrington Smith.
After 7 strong years in which the business has seen considerable growth, current Vice President Offshore Jacob Poot, following a handover period, will be retiring from his full time role whilst continuing to support Cargostore as a non-executive Brand Ambassador.
Over the past 7 years Jacob has overseen the extensive growth of Cargostore’s Offshore Division, becoming a leading global player in the supply of DNV 2.7-1 CCUs for offshore projects, as well as the expansion into new regions such as the UAE, Northern Europe and Taiwan.
Says Jacob Poot, “For me, now is the right time to hand over to Andrew to head the Offshore Division and I am pleased that I will be able to continue to support in the future development of the company whilst maintaining contact with our partners and clients.”
Andrew Hart, formerly the CEO of Freight Forwarders Kenya brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, having operated in several roles within freight forwarding and logistics serving the Oil and Gas, Mining and other major infrastructure projects.
